Terms of service

This website is operated by WallpaperMural, a trading name of MFL-COM Ltd (‘we’ or ‘us’). These terms apply to all purchases made on the website https://wallpapermural.com and it’s subsidiary pages, and purchases made directly with the WallpaperMural team. Please read this document carefully and print or download it before placing your order.

These terms may be updated at any time, so you should check them before making each purchase.

Payment

You can pay for your order with all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and any other payment providers offered at checkout. We will take responsible care to keep order details and payment secure, however with the exception of negligence, we will not be liable for any losses if an unauthorised third party obtains access to your information.

If your order is flagged as potentially fraudulent by our payment system, we may require photo ID or proof of address to continue with your order.

Your Agreement With Us

All orders placed by the Customer are subject to final acceptance by the Seller.

Following receipt of any order, the Seller may send to the Customer an order acknowledgement detailing the products which have been ordered. This communication is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from the Seller.

Acceptance of the Customers order and the completion of the Contract between the Seller and Customer will take place on despatch to the Customer of the Products ordered, unless the Seller has notified the Customer that the order has not been accepted or it has been cancelled by the Customer.

Delivery

We deliver worldwide with some exceptions, which are due to limitations from our shipping partners during worldwide political events and logistics. These exceptions may change at any time, however the Seller will notify the Customer if they have ordered with delivery to one of these areas.

All of our products are printed to order, and as such are subject to a production time or lead time. We endeavour to meet our expected delivery times as displayed during the order process, however these are estimations and unforeseen circumstances can cause delays.

We advise our Customers not to book any installers until the goods have been received and checked. We are not liable for any fees incurred if an estimated delivery date is not met. Please allow enough time for your items to be delivered, as well as 48 hours for wallpaper to acclimatise, before you organise installation as we cannot be held responsible for out of pocket expenses resulting from delays in delivery.

Orders made with an incorrect delivery address cannot be refunded if the item has been delivered to the address provided on the order. Any delivery arrangements made between the Customer and courier, such as diverting the package to a pickup point, safe place or alternative address, are the responsibility of the Customer. Once a package is marked as delivered by the courier, the contract of sale is considered completed, and any further issues are the responsibility of the Customer.

If a package is refused and/or returned to sender, we will contact the Customer to confirm delivery details and send the package a maximum of once more. Any further instances of refused delivery or the package being returned to sender will be the Customer’s responsibility and will not entitle them to a refund as our products are custom made and cannot be restocked.

Installation

We advise all of our customers to thoroughly check each delivery to ensure it is correct before arranging installation. For this reason, we will not be liable for any fees incurred when a faulty product has been installed or is unable to be installed.

Comprehensive instructions are provided with every wallpaper order. These will arrive via an email link when your order is dispatched, and can also be found via a QR code within the packaging. Any deviation from these instructions when installing, unless advised by our team, will invalidate any warranties associated with the product. We will not be liable for any fees incurred by installation-related issues as these are out of our control.

Removability

Where any products are described as removable, this indicates that the product has been tested on a number of different walls with a number of different finishes. During testing, the product has been removable in one piece without damage.

The condition of the Customer’s wall, removal technique and installation methods are out of our reasonable control, and as such we cannot guarantee that our products will be damage-free in all circumstances. For this reason, we will not accept any liability for any damage.

Batches and Variations

We have made every effort to display colours as accurately as possible on our website, however we cannot guarantee that any monitor will display these colours as intended. Products may appear differently when viewed on computer and mobile displays due to colour settings and relative brightness between displays. For this reason we recommend ordering a sample of your chosen colours and material before purchasing for a reliable representation of colour.

All of our products are custom printed, and as such each individual wallpaper and sample is printed as it’s own batch. Due to natural variations in our raw materials, there can be slight colour variations between batches. When ordered on the same paper type, we guarantee that these variations have ΔE < 2.3, which is defined as the level of ‘just-noticeable difference’ by Mahy et al. 1994. Any orders which fall outside this range from the intended colour will be replaced free of charge.

Any orders of replacement panels or extra panels can be subject to slight variations in colour and alignment.

Product and Material Images and Descriptions

We have made every effort to accurately describe and display all of our products, however all images are approximate. Many of our products are scaled to the requirements of the Customer, so any wallpaper displayed may not be at the same scale as that of a Customer’s order. An accurate preview is shown to you during the order process, and this is the only image that may be relied upon for scale and positioning. The preview image includes an additional 6cm to allow for trimming when installing. Customers should order a sample in their chosen material to inspect colours before ordering.

Availability

All of our products are custom printed, so all of our designs are available indefinitely. Our base materials, however, are only guaranteed to be available whilst our stocks last. If the base material you have ordered becomes unavailable, we will contact you with options of alternative materials that are available to us. We endeavour to deliver goods within our estimated delivery dates, however we are not liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
